WayBetter Text Messaging Terms

These Text Messaging Terms apply to the WayBetter Text Program operated by WayBetter, Inc. They govern SMS/MMS messages sent from WayBetter-operated numbers for WayBetter host programs.

Who sends the messages

Messages are sent by WayBetter, Inc. A message may be signed “[Host] via WayBetter” because the host provides or approves host content, but WayBetter operates the phone number and messaging system.

Two separate optional text programs

  1. Host marketing program. A person may opt in to recurring marketing texts from a specific WayBetter host. These may include a free warmup, daily host messages and check-ins during a warmup, acknowledgments, invitations to that host’s paid WayBetter rounds, and up to one weekly host message between warmups or rounds. For text-to-join enrollment, the person first texts JOIN after seeing the program disclosure. WayBetter then sends a confirmation request. The person is enrolled only after replying YES. Marketing consent may also be given through a separate unchecked marketing checkbox on a WayBetter host page or, for a direct buyer who has not already opted in, through a separate unchecked marketing checkbox after purchase.

  2. Paid-round delivery. A person who purchases a WayBetter round may separately choose to receive recurring texts used to deliver that purchased round, including daily host messages, optional check-ins, reply acknowledgments, and WayBetter account-access links. This consent is collected through a separate unchecked optional checkbox at checkout or later in the WayBetter app. The marketing program and paid-round delivery are separately consented. Neither form of text-message consent is required to make a purchase or participate through the WayBetter app.

Eligibility and frequency

The WayBetter Text Program is for adults 18 and older. Frequency is up to 5 messages per day during a free warmup or paid round, and up to 1 marketing message per week between warmups or rounds. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP at any time to stop WayBetter host text messages. If you later reply START, your carrier-level text block may be lifted, but recurring host-program messages resume only after you complete a valid enrollment flow for that host.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery may vary by carrier and device.
